It's bad enough to drive your gorgeous orange Lamborghini into a sand trap on a golf course. But at least it will make you the star of the show.That's what happened yesterday at the Concorso Italiano display of Italian cars in Monterey, Calif. One of the drivers was moving his car off the course, apparently went over the rise and didn't realize the bunker was on the other side. The Lambo plunged in nose first.
Except for having a few dozen oglers gathered around, cellphones in hand, it was just another normal day for the tow-truck firm. The tow truck's driver rescued the stranded Lambo by extending the bed across the sand trap and winching the lost little Lambo aboard. We suspect the driver's only injury from the mishap was a bruised ego.
