in just two short months, BMW will be the honored marque of the Savannah Speed Classic and Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance. Kicking off on October 28th, the week-long series of events will begin at the Savannah Harbor Race Circuit on Hutchinson Island, opposite historic Savannah and over the week move to Hilton Head Island for the 10th annual Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance.
While being treated to a week of the finest BMW motorcycles, road cars and race cars in North America may sound incredible, our friends at the BMW Performance Center have partnered with the BMW Car Club of America to create the ultimate driving experience for a handful of fans. Eighteen lucky BMW CCA members will be privy to a 4-day driving experience where patrons will be able to ride in the passenger seat of a number of historic BMW race cars as the BMW Performance Center instructors pound around the Savannah track.
Additionally, the BMW Performance Center will have instructors and their Competition Package-spec’d E92 M3s on-hand to give patrons professional driving instruction on how to find the best line around a track. However, unlike the normal M School events held at the BMW Performance Center, this special driving school is both a mix of incredible performance around an exclusive track and a luxurious 4-day trip staying in two of the most beautiful cities in the South at two luxurious Westin resorts.
After a weekend of rides in classic Bavarian iron and some instructional laps in modern M3s, guests will be whisked away to beautiful Hilton Head Island. While driving isn’t for everyone or their spouse, the BMW PDC and BMW CCA will offer golf and spa packages in addition to a road trip in a Rolls Royce to help smooth over the idea with the significant other!
