Nine Bugatti Veyrons rally -- and not one speeding ticket

The great thing about owning a Bugatti Veyron, the world's fastest production car costing more than $2 million, is you can pretty much afford to do, well, anything.

So when word came that Bugatti Veyrons were going to hold a rally in California, including a display at the Quail motorsports gathering, drivers from around the world answered the call. Owners in Switzerland, Great Britain and Holland and Argentina answered the call, all having their cars air-shipped in for the week. The cost? Around $10,000 to ship the car alone, each way.

The imported cars, combined with others from the U.S., were driven all over the California wine country before ending up back at the Quail, an exclusive auto event near Carmel, Calif. held before today's Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach. A total of nine came to the rally. Quite a sight.
